Extension Project – Slab Level and Brickwork

Following the completion of the foundations, the next stage of this extension project involved preparing the structure up to slab level and beginning the external brickwork.

Concrete lintels were installed, followed by the completion of the damp proof course (DPC) and installation of the damp proof membrane (DPM). Insulation was then fitted before the concrete floor slab was poured.

With the slab completed, brickwork began and the extension started to take shape above ground level.

This stage provided the necessary groundwork and structure for the extension to progress, with the build continuing upwards in the following stages.
